Movement & Action

In 2009 Tara decided to learn digiscoping in order to capture the beauty and diversity of wildlife in her backyard cypress swamp.  She and her husband have taken numerous birding trips around the U.S. since, but their cypress swamp remains her favorite place for digiscoping.  In 2011 Tara’s photo of a bathing Roseate Spoonbill earned her first place in the Digiscoper of the Year contest, and in 2012 she was able to retain the title with the portrait of a Cattle Egret in breeding plumage.
